Summary

This consultation aims to establish a formal mechanism for collecting, analysing and responding to stakeholder input on the proposed revision to the Fairtrade Premium for cane sugar. The proposals are based on calculations derived from observations of changes in selected macroeconomic indicators, as well as discussions held by the project team.

Scope of the consultation

Re-evaluate the Fairtrade premium values for both organic and conventional cane sugar worldwide by observing changes in selected macroeconomic indicators, namely inflation and purchasing power.
